Registered Nurse (RN) Float Pool Job Ref: 32991 Category: Nursing Location: 133 Old Road to Nine Acre Corner, Concord, MA 01742 Department: Nursing Float Pool Schedule: Part Time Shift: Eve/Night shift Hours: 7pm-7:30am Pay Range: $35.71 - $70.03 per hour Job Summary Reporting to the Associate Chief Nursing Officer, responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide comprehensive care appropriate to the age of the patients served in the Float Pool Department as directed by nursing management. Nursing care is provided in accordance with the stated philosophy and standards established by the Nursing Service Department, regulatory agencies and professional organizations. Accountable for the safety of nursing care they deliver or supervise. Responsible to the patient and the family or significant others for the quality of direct and indirect nursing care delivered. Minimum Qualifications Education o Graduate of professional accredited nursing school required. Experience o Previous Medical Surgical experience required. Licensure and/or Certification o Currently licensed to practice professional nursing in Massachusetts required. o BLS healthcare provider required. Skills o Basic nursing skills. o Communication skills. o Assessment skills. o Critical thinking skills. o Organizational skills. o Computer skills. o Ability to maintain confidential information. o Ability to read, write and communicate in English. o Excellent customer service skills required.
