| Description QualificationsJob Summary: The PSD Materials Handler supports our engine builders by arranging/staging incoming parts (new and reused). This position will be key to supporting a process change designed to increase production within our Engine Rebuild shops. The incumbent in this position is expected to model the following practices on a daily basis: 1) Demonstrate alignment with the company's mission and core business values; 2) Collaborate with key internal/external resources; 3) Participate in ongoing self-development. Essential Functions: 
  
 Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the consistent use of HOLT's Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and Mission StatementPlans, sorts, and stages parts to support engine assembly processMaintains all company equipment, tools, and work areas in a good, clean, and working orderCoordinates and plans the movement of parts with the parts departmentEnsures the warehouse and equipment yard is neat, clean and orderlyWorks overtime as required by workloadWorks safely at all times and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standardsRequires regular and punctual employee attendancePerforms other duties as assigned

 Basic knowledge of engines, components, and parts handlingGeneral knowledge of equipment and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenanceKnowledge and proficiency with current computer software and related hardwareGood verbal and written communication skillsOperation and control skills of equipment or systemsAbility to operate forklift and pallet jackAbility to operate an overhead craneAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to be self-starting and self-motivatedAbility to read, write, and understand informationAbility to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences
