Postdoctoral Research Fellow - Pharmacology & Neuro Ops

This postdoctoral position is in the laboratory of Dr. Kristina Simeone in the Pharmacology and Neuroscience Department at Creighton University School of Medicine.

Seeking to hire a highly motivated individual interested in studying mechanisms and treatments of sudden unexpected death in epilepsy. We employ techniques that span in vitro molecular biology, genetics, electrophysiology, mitochondria bioenergetics, up thru in vivo actigraphy and electroencephalography. Those with expertise in pharmacology, neuroscience, epilepsy, cardiac and respiratory physiology, and behavior are of particular interest.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. degree required
• Neuroscience experience
• Work efficiently and independently and have high scientific standards
• Evidence of strong written and verbal communication skills and organizational skills
• Past research experience and publications will be strongly considered in the selection process
