Operations Manager - JLL

What this job involves:

Direct and support the daily operations of Mobile Technical Services (MTS) for their region, ensuring that a safe, efficient, and cost-effective delivery of services is provided to the client and building occupants. You will provide direct support to field operations and are responsible for performance metric tracking and reporting. This role includes reviewing and approving all time card and P Card purchases for technicians while ensuring adherence to work order SLAs and receipt procedures. You will also participate in recruiting, interviewing and onboarding of mobile technicians, directly contributing to JLL's operational excellence and team development.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Responsible for maintaining daily working staff levels pursuant to the goals of the operation and the needs of the facilities
  • Ensure that engineering staff is qualified and trained to perform the duties they are expected to carry out as Lead and or Route engineers
  • Identify the maintenance objectives and incorporate those objectives into a documented plan that includes preventive, predictive and reactive maintenance procedures
  • Identify safety hazards, working closely with MTS EH&S and account management team to incorporate the remediation of hazards, ensuring a safe environment for building staff and route engineer's
  • Ensure that compliance of all regulatory laws and guidelines are met as they relate to the operation of any of the building's infrastructure
  • Work with Property and Project management to assist in the development of a Capital work plan which would include planning for infrastructure upgrades, equipment replacements and building modifications to ensure the building's future capabilities are maintained
  • Perform on site Quality Assurance inspections of maintained facilities and gather information as requested by management for business reporting purposes

Required Qualifications:

  • Candidate must possess valid driver's license
  • Minimum of 10 Years Trade experience
  • Supervisory experience in building engineering with a strong background in technical aspects of packaged HVAC equipment repair, maintenance and overall system design and application
  • Must have an excellent working knowledge of computer-based applications and programs, to include Excel, Word, and Corrigo
  • Must be able to deliver results thru others and manage work, people and processes from a central location
  • Good interpersonal skills, ability to communicate well in both oral and written reports with team members
  • Vocational degree program, HVAC or Comparable work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Universal CFC recovery certification
  • 15 years trade experience
  • Corrigo experience
  • Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Engineering Technology or related field
  • Ensure ACI's are accurate and kept up to date
  • Responsible for ensuring that project support is provided as needed by engineering staff
  • Ensure participation in the company's purchasing initiatives by engineers for parts and materials is needed to perform routine and non-routine tasks

Location:Remote, based out of Texas

Work Shift: Day shift with on call responsibilities.

Estimated compensation for this position:

94,820.00 - 137,500.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
