Role Objective

The Learning & Organizational Development Sr. Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing strategies and programs that drive behavior change and cultivate critical competencies across the organization. This role will partner with stakeholders across the organization, enabling realization of Enterprise talent strategy and Enterprise strategic objectives.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Identify Needs: Collaborate with leaders across departments and HR to identify key behaviors and competencies to cultivate for different roles and levels. Particular areas of focus may include onboarding, leadership development and sales development
  • Design and Coordinate Programs:Develop and oversee the implementation of programs that develop identified competencies and drive behavior change, coordinating with subject matter experts across the organization to develop content
  • Deliver and Facilitate Training:Conduct training sessions as needed, and/or train subject matter experts to act as facilitators
  • Evaluate Program Effectiveness:Measure the impact of programs and make necessary adjustments to improve learning and change management outcomes
  • Manage Learning Tools and Platforms: Assess existing learning tools and platforms available to team members, identifying recommendations for evolving toolset to best meet needs of the organization
  • Partner with Technology Teams: Work with HRIS and other technology teams to manage and maintain employee learning plans
  • Participate in Project Teams: Act as a subject matter expert on project teams as needed
  • Act as a Trusted Advisor: Act as a partner to the business and HR to best meet learning and organizational development needs for individual team members and workgroups, and to ensure that learning programs align with broader talent and Enterprise strategies

Education and Experience

  • Minimum five (5) years of progressive experience in learning and organizational development roles
  • Experience with 3rd party online learning platforms preferred
  • Experience in a competency-based environment preferred
  • Demonstrated advanced level skills with Microsoft Office tools
  • Experience with LMS software required
  • Experience working with senior leaders on organizational effectiveness and learning initiatives required
  • Experience developing training needs assessments, strategies, and content leveraging adult learning best practices

Supervision/Coordination

Communicates across all levels of the GOJO community using oral, written, and electronic methodologies. Makes presentations to all levels including senior management.

Travel Requirements
Overnight Travel - sporadic - required.
Travel between campus locations in Northeast Ohio as needed
