Duties & Responsibilities |
What You'll Do
- Serve as primary contact for UCATT staff on facilities, business operations, and applying university policies to address inquiries
- Handle complex administrative processes independently, using knowledge of departmental policies to resolve issues without supervision
- Maintain departmental record-keeping systems and track purchasing requests to ensure budget compliance and transparent processes
- Evaluate and improve administrative workflows, recommending changes to increase operational efficiency
- Coordinate departmental events, meetings, and travel, including logistics, agendas, and arrangements
- Act as liaison with central HR, finance, and business offices, translating university policies for staff and ensuring documentation meets processing requirements
- Lead employee onboarding and offboarding processes, coordinating with HR and IT to ensure smooth transitions
- Supervise 1-2 front desk student workers, ensuring they complete their tasks
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal
supervision - Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of university travel and financial
systems and policies - Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize tasks and
projects - Skill in fact-finding and problem analysis
- Ability to research and interpret policy
information - Knowledge of office software programs and
tools - Ability to gather, analyze, and present
information clearly - Ability to meet deadlines with thorough
follow-through - Ability to coordinate between employees and
teams as needed

Minimum Qualifications |
- High school diploma or
high school diploma equivalency required - Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or
equivalent combination of education and work experience
|
Preferred Qualifications |
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree
- Experience working at the University of Arizona or other higher education institutions
- 6+ years of administrative or business experience

Notice of Availability of the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report |
In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act), each year the University of Arizona releases an Annual Security Report (ASR) for each of the University's campuses.Thesereports disclose information including Clery crime statistics for the previous three calendar years and policies, procedures, and programs the University uses to keep students and employees safe, including how to report crimes or other emergencies and resources for crime victims. As a campus with residential housing facilities, the Main Campus ASR also includes a combined Annual Fire Safety report with information on fire statistics and fire safety systems, policies, and procedures.
