What you will do

  • Collaborate with mechanical engineers, firmware developers, product management, and manufacturing operations.

  • Perform failure analysis of returned product

  • Responsible for development of Shop Standards, Routings, Programming, Capital Projects and Improvements as required to support manufacturing operations.

  • Defines operational process sequences, production facilities and layouts, tooling and fixtures, establishes labor time standards. Defines, justifies and implements capital projects.

  • Reviews new product designs to specify manufacturing processes, primarily CNC machining procedures and programming.

  • Assists in resolution of various production problems usually tooling, procedural or quality related.

  • Forecasts product cost estimates for various existing and proposed products.

  • 10% new product development, assisting new product development, reviewing designs

  • 40% support of existing products

  • 50% troubleshooting and root cause analysis

  • Minimal travel

What we look for

Required

  • University degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. 3 Years suggested minimum experience.

  • 3+ years of product development experience related to commercial or industrial

  • Design verification testing

  • Root cause and Failure analysis

  • Familiarity with DMM's, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and data acquisition units

  • Technical writing

  • Written and verbal communications

  • Computer proficiency including MS Office

  • Aptitude and desire to learn programming for our electrical product areas

  • Ability to work on shop floor

  • Ability to develop manufacturing processes

Preferred

  • Experience with AutoCad, Inventor, PLC/HMI

  • Experience with Amada equipment and software

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $67,000-91,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and
abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.) This role offers acompetitive Bonus plan that will take into account individual, group, and corporate performance. Thisposition includes a competitive benefits package.
