Full time (40 hrs)

Day Shift: 8:00am - 4:30pm; Monday - Friday

Both new gradsandexperienced Radiation Therapists are encouraged to apply!

Summary:
The Radiation Therapist role is responsible for the monitoring and calibrating of machine functions, instruction of students, and shielding and positioning of patients as prescribed in the individual treatment plan.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, physics, chemistry, radiation safety as well as radiation therapy procedures, techniques, and equipment and safety and health precautions at a level generally acquired through completion of an approved 2-year program in Radiation Therapy Technology required.
  2. License/Certifications: Completion of an accredited program in Radiation Therapy and current applicable state(s) license as a Radiation Therapist through the ARRT required.
  3. Experience: Proficiency in performing radiation therapy treatments generally acquired through on-the-job training and experience required.
