Provide support services in the operation and maintenance of an academic or research laboratory to include performing analyses; setup, operation, maintenance and cleaning of equipment; and maintaining stock of supplies. Specific duties will be determined based on assignment and unit needs. Georgia Tech is a transdisciplinary research hub focused on advancing innovation for a regenerative, circular economy. The Lab works across sectors and disciplines to co-develop scalable, community-driven solutions to global challenges such as climate change, resource depletion, and environmental injustice. Using its Industry Innovation Framework, the Lab supports projects from vision to implementation, emphasizing environmental sustainability, social equity, and economic resilience. Our work engages deeply with communities most impacted by systemic climate vulnerabilities. We work closely with campus and external partners to develop sustainable, scalable solutions across multiple domains by leveraging emerging technologies. This includes applied research and development in biodegradable and bio-based materials for packaging, biomedical instrumentation for environmental health applications, and digital infrastructure such as web platforms for community outreach and academic engagement. This includes hands-on research in biodegradable and biobased materials for packaging solutions, coordination of multidisciplinary teams, and logistical support for lab operations and academic activities.
