You will be responsible for overseeing the procurement function- developing and implementing procurement strategies and managing the site procurement team. You will have direct involvement in strategic planning, supplier management, and ensuring the efficient and cost-effective procurement of materials and services. Ready to make your mark?

What You'll be Doing:

  • Commercial Optimization: Identify and implement total cost of ownership saving opportunities and drive procurement efficiency. Develop and manage the procurement budget, ensuring cost control and optimization. Analyze spend data and changing global supply chain cost factors and develop strategies to reduce costs and improve value for Husco.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the procurement team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence. Set performance goals and conduct regular reviews to ensure team alignment and performance against Husco's objectives. Provide training and professional development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and capabilities. Use ERP business systems and Power BI tools to manage procurement activities.
  • Supply Base Management: Oversee and develop relationships with suppliers to ensure high performance and reliability, identifying areas of risk and opportunity. Participate in identifying suppliers as grow, hold, or exit and then leading the related actions to achieve the stated objectives. Conduct regular supplier reviews/visits, performance evaluations, and financial analysis to ensure compliance with Husco's terms, standards, and operating expectations. Develop and build deep supplier relationships across supplier business functions and vertically within the supplier's executive team.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field. Master's degree or postgraduate degree preferred.
  • 7 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management within the manufacturing industry with at least 3 years of leadership experience.
  • MCIPS (Member of Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply), APICS CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management), CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) and CLTD (Certified in Logistics, Transportation, and Distribution), or similar certifications preferred.
  • Strong strategic thinking, leadership, and negotiation skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to support up to 20% domestic and international travel.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
