Overview

The Senior HR Manager supports the Director of HR in driving strategic HR initiatives and managing day-to-day operations across the HR function. This role serves as a key partner to business leaders, ensuring HR programs are effectively implemented and aligned with organizational goals. The Senior HR Manager leads a team of HR professionals and plays a critical role in talent management, employee relations, compliance, and organizational development.

Responsibilities

Strategic & Operational Support

  • Collaborate with the Director of HR to develop and execute HR strategies that support business objectives.
  • Translate strategic plans into actionable HR programs and initiatives.
  • Provide insights and recommendations on workforce planning, organizational design, and change management.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Supervise HR team members and oversee daily HR operations.
  • Mentor and develop HR staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.

Talent Acquisition & Management

  • Support recruitment efforts and lead onboarding, and retention strategies.
  • Support performance management processes and succession planning efforts.

Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on HR-related matters.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and workplace culture.

Compliance & Policy Management

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Support the Director of HR in managing compensation structures and benefits programs.
  • Conduct internal equity reviews and market benchmarking.

HR Systems & Analytics

  • Oversee HRIS systems and ensure accurate reporting and data integrity.
  • Analyze HR metrics and provide actionable insights to leadership.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of employment law, HR best practices, and organizational development.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with HRIS platforms and data-driven decision-making.

Preferred Certifications:

  • SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
