YOUR IMPACT As a Solutions Engineering Manager for Cisco GES Networking, you will: Lead & Inspire: Coach and empower a team of Solutions Engineers to deliver technical excellence, innovation, and customer impact. Shape Strategy: Partner with Sales leadership to align account and market strategies with industry trends and customer priorities. Enable Success: Ensure your team has the resources, tools, and enablement to thrive-building scalable technical approaches that drive adoption and growth. Engage Customers: Represent Cisco at the executive level, influencing technical preference and positioning Cisco as a trusted advisor. Drive Outcomes: Guide execution across architectures (switching, wireless, cloud, security, AI, data center, observability) to achieve business results. Fosture Culture: Create a people-first environment that values collaboration, courage, wellness, and continuous learning. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Build and scale a high-performing team of Solutions Engineers. Partner with cross-functional teams and channel partners to deliver holistic solutions. Enable adoption of Cisco platforms including AI-ready networking, security (SASE, XDR, Splunk), observability, and hybrid cloud. Drive demand creation and in-person engagements with customers and partners. Deliver crisp and inspiring executive-level communications. Lead through challenges and market transitions, while reinforcing Cisco's vision and values. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 7-10+ years of pre-sales engineering or technical sales experience. 3+ years of experience leading technical sales or solutions engineering teams. Strong technical foundation across Cisco's core portfolio (networking, cloud, data center, security, observability, AI/ML). Demonstrated success engaging with enterprise or service provider customers. Proven ability to lead account planning, resource allocation, and cross-functional collaboration. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). Master's degree a plus. Cisco or industry certifications (CCIE, CCNP, cloud/security certifications). Experience in industries such as web, media, gaming, or e-commerce a plus. Executive presence and communication skills, with a track record of influencing customer strategy.
