Business Intelligence

The Business Intelligence Analyst Intern is responsible for gathering customer requirements to design, implement, and provide support for reports and dashboards within the Claims Department. The Business Intelligence Analyst Intern will support our Data Transformation initiative by recreating our legacy dashboards and reports in our new modern Azure environment. Candidates must have familiarity and ability to develop in Power BI and Data Bricks.

Consumer Data Research

The Consumer Data Research Intern will reside within the Customer Knowledge and Insights function. The intern will participate in agent and policyholder research, voice-of-customer data collection and analytics, and agile user testing. Candidates must have familiarity with research techniques.

Innovation

The Innovation Intern will work in the Agile/Sprint methodology to perform all software development activities including development and testing. There will be a specific focus on API development and testing and various Innovation projects with technical skills to develop prototype websites for testing and validation purposes during the internship. Candidates must have some familiarity with API development and testing skills with any platform - Microsoft APIM and Azure are preferred and overall software development experience.

Portfolio Management

The Portfolio Management Intern will have exposure to Data collection, accumulation monitoring and creation of dashboards leveraging automation (GenAI). The Intern will participate in peril based research, documentation and creation of SOPs. Candidates mut have familiarity with coding (SQL/Python), Data wrangling and Data Visualization tools (PowerBI).

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science and Analytics, Information Systems, Business Management, Project Management and Risk Management.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week for 12 weeks
  • Confidence in use of MS Office 365 tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Notes, Teams)
  • Candidates must be local (Amelia, OH) and have reliable transportation due to the hybrid work schedule. Interns and will work in the office at least 2 days a week
  • Applicants requiring employer sponsorship of a visa will not be considered for this position.
