The Space and Intelligence Division (S&ID) provides professional services to the US Space Force, Combatant Commands, Intelligence Community, and NASA. The Space Systems Group (SSG), part of SPA's Space and Intelligence Division, provides timely and objective assessments and recommendations integrating technical, operational, programmatic, policy and business analysis. We focus on our key clients in the Space community including the US Space Force's Space Systems Command (USSF/SSC), one of the three designated Field Commands under USSF. We work tirelessly to provide integrated solutions based on information and communications throughout the chain of command. We provide clear and consistent analysis and recommendations which are aligned to strategic and leadership goals while balancing the ability to execute on time and on budget within the technical communities. Responsibilities

The key duties associated with this role include but are not limited to the following:

  • Provide Program Acquisition Support services to the MilComm and PNT Product Support Delta (SSC/CGM).
  • Develop responses to information requests, inquiries, data calls, and tasks, overseeing Task Management at the 2-letter, 3-letter, and 4-letter levels.
  • Coordinate and track task execution across the Directorate; monitor suspense items and ensure timely and quality responses.
  • Conduct research, analysis, and reporting to support situational awareness, strategic planning, and milestone reviews.
  • Review program documents for consistency with acquisition policy, statutory guidance, and PNT mission objectives.
  • Support visit coordination and facilitate completion of all required documentation and scheduling.
  • Assist with drafting and editing program communications, briefings, and staff summary sheets.

Qualifications

About the Must Haves

  • Active Secret clearance
  • Minimum 12 years of relevant acquisition/program management experience
  • Master's degree in a related field from an accredited university
  • APDP Level III, PMP certification, or the ability to obtain one
  • Proficiency using DoD, Air Force, and/or Space Force tools, including MS Office application
  • Reports to designated work location in El Segundo, CA, up to full time, based on the needs of the customer

About the Desired

  • Prior experience supporting Space Systems Command (SSC), MILSATCOM, or PNT systems
  • Familiarity with SSC/CG organizational structure and 3-/4-letter tasking
