POSITION SUMMARY

The Events Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring the organization, set up and break down of mountain operation-based events including all on hill and off-hill events, and third party events. The Events Supervisor will strive to deliver a rewarding experience for our guests, and fellow team members. This is a benefit eligible, flex year-round position. The hourly compensation for this role is $22.00 - $25.00/hour, based upon experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Oversee Event Operations, including scheduling, setting up and break down along with any operational needs before, during and after events
  • Work with department leads to execute each operation seamlessly, from set-up to break-down
  • Maintain the highest safety standards and code compliance for guests and staff
  • Work with Events Manager to interview, hire and ensure an appropriate number of staff are scheduled at each event
  • Assist with scheduling and timekeeping needs, ensuring accuracy in a timely manner
  • Support staff throughout their employment life cycle, with a focus on staff retention, continued training, feedback, support and counseling as needed
  • Maintain excellent guest and employee rapport
  • Attend and participate in daily/weekly/monthly meetings as directed by Events Manager
  • Additional duties as assigned


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Education:
  • High School Diploma, or equivalent, required


Experience:
  • Previous supervisory experience, preferred
  • Experience in on hill resort operations, concerts, event planning, recreation or related field, preferred

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

This position is required to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
