The Pricing Process Owner is responsible for designing, governing and continuously improving PSaS pricing processes to ensure scalable and efficient service delivery across a $300B+ portfolio. The Pricing Process Owner serves as the primary business process leader for pricing operations, ensuring lean, automation ready designs that support compliance, adoption and measurable business outcomes.

Operating within a highly matrixed McKesson environment, the Pricing Process Owner collaborates closely with cross-functional stakeholders and engages regularly with Pricing Leadership, Sales, Operations, Branded Products/Generics team members in addition to Finance, CDX and McKesson Technology to anticipate business needs and optimize end-to-end pricing workflows supporting a industry leading pricing organization.

Reporting to the Sr. Dir. of Pricing Process & Solutions, this leader brings robust change leadership skills and strong executive presence to foster alignment, innovation, and continuous improvement. Success in this role requires a commitment to ILEAD behaviors, a sharp focus on profitable growth, exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement, and unwavering standards for quality and precision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engages and collaborates regularly with PSaS Pricing Leadership and as well as key stakeholders and end-users across McKesson (PSaS Sales, Operations, Generics, CDX, MT) to anticipate business needs and influence the optimal process design for scalable pricing service delivery for a $300B+ PSaS Portfolio.

  • Understands end user workflow challenges and opportunities to design efficient and effective ways of working leveraging subject matter expertise and industry-leading best practices with an eye towards lean process design as a prerequisite for automated solution development.

  • Responsible for translating pricing business process needs as an input to future technology solution requirements. Partners with the Dir., Pricing Solution Owner to bridge the gap between business process and future technology solutions roadmap.

  • Champions continuous improvement in the pricing service delivery model and ensures timely delivery of outcomes by aligning process enhancement efforts with clear SLAs and measurable outcomes.

  • Drives process adoption and compliance by developing Pricing Self-Service training for sales and analyst education on standard SOPs.

  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Requirement

Degree or equivalent and typically requires 10+ years of relevant experience. Less years required if has relevant Master's or Doctorate qualifications.

Education

Bachelor's degree required, Finance or related field preferred

MBA or advanced degree in Business, or Finance is strongly preferred

Certifications

Lean Six Sigma or equivalent process optimization certification a plus

Critical Skills

  • 10+ years of relevant finance or pricing operations expertise, deal workflow management preferably in a Fortune 100 company. Less years required with a relevant Master's degree.

  • Demonstrated experience in diversified leadership, planning, communication, organization, and people motivation skills (or equivalent experience).

  • Strong grounding in pricing operations and workflows (various aspects of deal modeling across a complex pharma ecosystem)

  • Expert knowledge of lean process design, workflow optimization and continuous improvement methodologies

  • Experience with implementing scalable, tiered service delivery models across various levels of engagement depth (self-service to bespoke)

  • Understanding of SLAs, KPIs, and use of operational dashboard to track process efficiency and compliance

  • Ability to document and redesign end-to-end pricing workflows for scalability and efficiency

  • Strong understanding of and ability to design for compliance to pharma regulatory requirements

Additional Skills

  • Industry experience in healthcare, life sciences, or large-scale B2B environments is a plus

  • Executive presence and acumen with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels, influence without authority, and defend your positions

  • Strong skills in diagnosing process inefficiencies, quantifying improvement opportunities and aligning measurable business outcomes

  • Ability to convert process workflows and SOPs to easily consumable learning material

  • Effective communication and influencing skills, with the ability to present complex concepts and recommendations to executive leadership

  • Proven track record managing projects ranging in size, complexity and impact; experience in all aspects of project management to ensure proper resource management/utilization, delivery against scheduled commitments, risk mitigation, issue management, and effective management of client expectations

  • Familiar with complex customer negotiations and ability to understand, interpret and apply complex financial analyses

  • Strong leadership skills including team development, managing in a matrix organization, and working with executives across multiple functions

  • Demonstrated ability to motivate, influence and gain commitment at all levels of the organization

  • Ability to organize, manage and prioritize multiple projects

    Salary: 128,800.00 - 171,700.00 - 214,600.00 USD Annual with 20% MIP

    **Starting Pay is between $140,000 to $165,000 based on skills and qualifications for this role in the Irving, Texas area
