Bernhardt Design Division is looking for a Cushion Filler / Upholstery Stager at Plant 7 (Morganton Blvd.) in Lenoir, NC Primary Responsibilities: Fill sewn covers and casings with cushions and backs using a cushion machine and by hand. Regulate all covers by hand to ensure cushions are filled accurately and appearance is in accordance with product standards. Clean and organize cushion department / area in order maintain an accurate inventory. Assist in staging for upholstery by matching the correct foam, cover & frame for production. Periodically assist in the unloading of trucks to ensure cushion department & production has correct supplies on-hand. Preferred Experience & Skill Set: 2 years prior cushion filling experience a plus but not required. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast- paced manufacturing environment. Ability to multi-task and possess excellent communication and time management skills. Willing to work overtime based on production & business needs. Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled
