Your Mission

As the Manufacturing Operations Manager for the EXE business line, you will drive strategic execution and operational excellence across production. You'll lead high-performing teams, optimize manufacturing processes, and ensure delivery of complex systems that meet quality, safety, and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Operational Leadership

  • Shape and execute the manufacturing strategy for the EXE business line.

  • Align production schedules with planning teams to meet on-time delivery goals.

  • Identify and resolve resource constraints and production bottlenecks.

Production Excellence

  • Ensure reliable, efficient, and safe manufacturing operations.

  • Oversee the introduction of new products and processes into volume production.

  • Drive output performance and ensure readiness of production tools and infrastructure.

Quality & Continuous Improvement

  • Champion quality standards and compliance with ISO 9000/14000/27001.

  • Lead root cause analysis and implement structural solutions for quality issues.

  • Establish long-term initiatives to elevate product quality and process reliability.

Team Development & People Management

  • Lead and mentor Manufacturing Line Manager and Group Leaders.

  • Conduct performance reviews, hiring, and development planning.

  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture across shifts and work centers.

Lean Manufacturing & Innovation

  • Embed Lean principles into daily operations (5S+1, Kaizen, Gemba, Six Sigma).

  • Promote continuous improvement and waste reduction initiatives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Interface with internal teams: Engineering, Planning, HR, Maintenance, and Customer Support.

  • Represent Wilton Factory in senior management presentations and external engagements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business (preferred).

  • Minimum 8 years of management experience in high-tech manufacturing.

  • Expertise in Production Management, Lean Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Office; SAP experience preferred.

Work Environment

  • Occasionally work in cleanroom conditions (72, full PPE).

  • Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs and work in a fast-paced, lean manufacturing setting.

  • Comfortable with cellular manufacturing and shift coordination.
