Summary Job Description: Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) PRN Job Details: Responds to an emergency call, assesses the situation, obtains a basic medical history and physical examination of the patient, and provides emergency care at the scene and during transit to the hospital. Utilizes necessary medical equipment to treat the patient and ascertains the extent of their injuries or illness. Communicates with the medical care facility receiving the patient about the patient's condition, status, and arrival time. Requirements: Emergency Medical Technician-Basic Certification by the Kentucky Board of EMS required Valid Kentucky Motor Vehicle Operator's License required Valid Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) through the American Heart Association required Other certifications and specialty training as required by the Kentucky Board of EMS Good communication skills (verbal and written) strongly preferred Work Experience Education If you would like to be part of a growing family focused on supporting clinical excellence, teamwork and innovation, we urge you to apply now!
