Closely collaborate with relevant products and business functions within the FedEx Logistics Freight Forwarding and Brokerage domains to create and deliver Integration services Supporting B2B and B2C Interfacing. The role will support the implementation of business solutions for these products by liaising with relevant departments including IT, Ops Excellence, Product Development, Business implementation, Operations Support, Customer Experience, and Commercial Sales. The role will define, design, develop, integrate, implement and thereafter continuously improve relevant integration services by supporting the usage, acceptance and development in capabilities which drive operational efficiencies, customer growth and retention. This position is the bridge between the development teams, customer experience value streams, and strategic transformation teams and is empowered to help drive capabilities and performance optimization through structured development planning increments.
The role will take on a leadership function within business Integration projects, taking accountability for ensuring a solution is delivered on time and within budget constraints as well as providing SME representation to other key stakeholders within the project.
The role will provide mentorship and management to solution advisors within the team, ensuring adherence to standard global product capabilities and roadmap, standard Safe Agile practices inclusive of configurable solutions, providing subject matter expertise where required and driving and monitoring performance within the team.
The role will have a high level of industry FF experience and systems and process knowledge. This knowledge is used to effectively bridge the gap between the technology and operational layers of the business and act as a conduit of information into the technology and development teams.
The Solutions and Integration Manager is responsible for Business Solution Architecture and delivery of APIs, EDI, databases ETL and integration services across FXL Air and Ocean forwarding and brokerage domains This role supports customer utilization of FXL'sintegration solutions and products, thereby supporting new business This role leads business requirements definition and functional design of all integration services, reflecting customer requirements and business needs This role ensures requirements are captured, translated and developed as part of the customer project or product development to deliver expected benefits (i.e. automation and efficiency gains, incremental revenue etc.) Ensures data integrity, compliance, security, best practices throughout the integration Actively monitors and manages activities ensuring the best of breed and industry leading integration capabilities and customer experience Overall leadership in supporting functional delivery of global implementations of the core integration services and products Works with Customer Solutionsand sales Team to promote integration services and products suites available to Customers, Business Intelligence, as well as Data Integration Ensures alignment with other opco's and enterprise integration products and services
Experience with Integration Services commonly used in the freight forwarding space inclusive of brokerage ideally defining required capabilities and working with IT for delivery Implementation experience with digital solutions spanning basic track and trace, online services through to more complex order management and lead logistics solutions inclusive of products, data integration and reporting Experience with Cargowise as the core freight and brokerage systems is preferred Minimum 3 years of Leadership Experience and ability to manage small teams of analysts remotely to deliver solutions Proven ability to complete projects and exceed results You are customer-centric and as such can easily put yourself into customer shoes A Bachelor's or master's degree in Logistics, Information Technology, or an equivalent education Minimum 5-8 years forwarding, carrier, or similar experience Minimum 5 years Solution Consulting and integration experience in logistics / freight forwarding Proven experience in designing and delivering digital products and services using both Agile and Waterfall project methodologies and SDLC processes preferred Ability to manage priorities in (digital) product development and process optimization and demands of customer solutions delivery Willingness to travel as required Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this role Global role, ideally based in US
