Position Summary |
This position at the J.W. Fanning Institute for Leadership Development supports the Institute's internal and client-based research and evaluation services. Responsibilities are varied but include data collection, analysis, program evaluation, and reporting; co-drafting client-based reports, reports to the Vice President for Public Service and Outreach, and Fanning program specific, annual, and other reports. The position builds and maintains critical elements of the Institute's data warehouse including pipelines, data extracts and transformations. The position further supports evaluating programs; building and maintaining dashboards; and conceptualizing and conducting literature reviews. |
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies |
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI, MS Teams
- Experience in conducting needs assessments and program evaluations.
- Experience in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
- Advanced technical writing and report development
- Knowledge in data management, analysis and visualization (Qualtrics, PowerBI, Python, SQL)
- Excellent communication skills, problem-solving, project management, and organizational skills

Build and manage critical elements of unit's database management systems providing end-to-end data lifecycle support (export, transform, load data) for research, evaluation, and impact assessments using various tools such as but not limited to QuestionPro, Qualtrics, PowerBI, Microsoft Fabrics, Smartsheets, and other relevant data management software. PSO-wide stakeholders to import and export data from systems to provide insight. |

Support all research and evaluation efforts of the institute through collection, analysis, visualization, and communication of various forms of data. Manage and support the program certification process. Conceptualize, conduct background research/literature reviews, collect quantitative and qualitative data, turn the data into a final product, and develop multiple ways to communicate the work using dashboards and written reports. Coordinate with faculty, staff, and students to draft, finalize, deliver, and present findings and reports. |
