Class A CDL Driver

Staffmark is seeking new talent in Dallas, TX. We are hiring an experienced Class A CDL Driver to join our team. This is a seasonal local driving position with the perk of being home daily and potential to be temp to hire!

Pay: $34.39 per hour (overtime rate is $29.41)

Schedule: 40 hours | 7-day operation | All shifts open

• Start times are between 1:00 AM & 8:00 AM or 2:00 PM & 11:00 PM

Job Details:

• Local routes | Home daily
• Seasonal assignment with potential overtime
• Driver will load and unload mail bins (light touch freight)
• Lifting is minimal
• Vehicle Type: Tractor-trailer combination

Job Duties:

• Safely operate a tractor and trailer combination to complete assigned routes
• Load/unload bins as needed
• Comply with company policies and all Federal/State DOT regulations
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain accurate logs
• Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL and DOT Medical Card
• At least 24 months of CDL A driving experience within the last 3 years
• Clean MVR required | No DUI/reckless driving in past 5 years/No at-fault accidents
• Minimum age of 23 or older
• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings
• Must be available for orientation and road test before start
• We can accept automatic restriction
• This position requires compliance with FMCSA English language Proficiency standards as outlined in 49 CFR 391.11(b)(2). Candidates must be able to read, write, and speak English sufficiently to perform safety-sensitive functions.
