As a Maintenance Technician here's the work you'll do.

Position Summary


Proficient maintenance technician to handle the installation, repair, and upkeep of machinery and equipment. The maintenance mechanic will conduct routine inspections, implement preventive maintenance measures, and may also be tasked with general building maintenance duties. The maintenance mechanic role should possess a practical mindset, mechanical proficiency, and keen attention to detail. Ultimately, an outstanding maintenance mechanic will ensure optimal functionality of machinery and equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, dismantle, install, and maintain mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment. Troubleshoot machinery and execute routine preventive maintenance.
  • Interpret and adhere to operation manuals and instructions.
  • Establish and maintain a schedule for machinery inspection, servicing, and testing. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.
  • Clean, repair, and install equipment and parts as required.
  • Utilize a variety of hand and power tools effectively. May be required to operate forklift.
  • Perform general maintenance tasks on buildings as assigned. Performs risk analysis on equipment and building and provides mitigation plans.

KSAs (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • Proficiency in operating hand and power tools as well as Mechanical aptitude and proficiency.
  • Strong computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office.
  • Physical dexterity (see essential functions below).
  • Excellent troubleshooting abilities.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED. Completion of trade or vocational school preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a maintenance mechanic or in a similar capacity.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Must be able to successfully background check and drug screen.


In compliance with this states pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $41,760- $62,640. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements).

  • Ability to read complex documents in the English language.
  • Capacity to reason and make sound decisions.
  • Ability to write complex documents in the English language.
  • Capacity to express thoughts orally.
  • Expertise in: EXCEL, WORD, CADD (Revit/Bentley)
  • Ability to wear a mask, respirator, bullet proof vest, or other equipment.
  • Ability to regularly perform all job functions at Company's office or worksite.
  • Ability to withstand environmental conditions (e.g. extreme heat or cold, grass, wind, sand, fumes, odors, gases, extreme noise, etc.)
