The Role

We are looking for a Product Scientist to support our Nanoindentation product line. This is a dynamic, evolving role requiring flexibility, adaptability, and a proactive mindset. You'll work closely with product management, sales, and service teams to drive innovation, support customers, and help grow market share in this exciting field.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Nanoindentation product line across multiple business functions.
  • Create and maintain compelling sales materials, including application slide decks and competitor comparisons.
  • Deliver training (internal and external) on nanoindentation techniques.
  • Gather and report customer insights and application trends to shape product strategy.
  • Collaborate with product management to influence the product roadmap.
  • Conduct internal and external product demonstrations.
  • Provide advanced technical sales support to complement local application scientists.
  • Test software builds for bugs and functionality, reporting findings clearly.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed in line with business priorities.


About You

  • A PhD in Materials Science (preferably in metallurgy).
  • Extensive experience working with nanoindentation systems.
  • At least 2 years of experience as an application scientist, product specialist, or product manager in scientific instrumentation.
  • Strong technical expertise in metallurgy, nanoindentation theory, and experimental design.
  • Excellent technical writing and communication skills.
  • A proactive, flexible, and collaborative mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel and engage with a global customer base.
  • Proficiency in English.
