Position Summary

Responsible for day-to-day cleaning, ordering supplies, and general maintenance. Be able to do a variety of duties that involve cleaning, stocking, and identifying items needing maintenance. Indoor and outdoor at TSA Headquarters Bldg. Ensures that the facility is cleaned to the highest standards with emphasis on floors, restrooms, break rooms, offices, and all guest contact areas.

Essential Functions

• Empty Non-recyclable trash can and replace liner
• Clean toilets, sinks, and floors in all restrooms & and keep fully stock with supplies
• Sweep and mop all hard surface floors
• Thoroughly clean the entry, including trash removal, reception desk counter and lobby tables and chairs
• Wipe down the break room tables, wash/fold/organize the table clothes
• Daily - clean and maintain all rooms and meeting places.
• Empty recyclable trash cans & place in recycling bin
• Dust, clean countertops, file cabinets and desktops
• Vacuum all rooms and wipe the desks and chairs
• Clean kitchen: sinks, wipe down countertops, workspace and wipe down the refrigerators
• Maintain inventory of janitorial, restroom & breakroom supplies and give the report to supervisors on a weekly basis or as needed
• Keep outside areas free of trash and clutter.
• Clean and wash all windows as necessary.
• Report facility damage and repair needs to the Officers in charge.
• Should be able to fix minor plumbing emergencies that may arise.
• Trouble shoot basic problems.
• Order cleaning supplies and maintain inventory
• Empty office trash cans and keep dumpster area clean.
• Further tasks will be given if needed.

PAY RATE: $20.00-$22.00/hr.

Working Conditions

Ability to walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel and twist on an intermittent or sometimes continuous basis. Ability to grasp, push, pull objects such as files, file cabinet drawers, and reach overhead. Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be capable of working efficiently without direct supervision.
• Must be mature, responsible individual. Experience of one year or more.
• Must be physically and mentally competent to perform a wide variety of duties, including physical activities such as climbing, lifting, etc.
• Must work as a team player.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
