Brief Summary of Work for this Position |
This position is responsible for assisting in training and workforce development programming for the College of Health and Human Services through the
CHHS Office of Community Engagement & Health Equity. Primary responsibilities are coordinating and administering a mentorship program, including program marketing, event/facilities coordination, program delivery, software management, evaluation, and reporting. This position may also provide supervision to students and temporary staff in the execution of program-related duties.
Responsibilities include:
Coordinate formal mentorship program for students across the College
Organize and manage all MentorCHHS events
Serve as point of contact for program coordinators, mentors, and students
Facilitate the mentor/mentee matching process
Liaison between mentor-mentee applicants
Coordinate marketing for mentor program and events
Provide technical assistance for implementation of mentorships for students
Develop and publish the mentorship program calendar
Manage the mentorship software platform
Provide consultation to faculty Program Coordinators who are interested in implementing mentorship with their students
Promote the program to prospective students and community partners
Train students and mentors on the use of mentorship software and on implementation of the mentorship program
Develop assessment tools and evaluation methods
Provide evaluation support for mentorship program
Create and support reporting materials and activities

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements |
Bachelor's degree with one year of experience related to mentorship, workforce development, or instructional design. Proficiency in MS Office including excel, outlook, and word, mentorship or educational software systems, and knowledge of program evaluation required. |
Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills & Experience |
Master's degree preferred. Prior experience with mentorship or workforce development program management and previous experience working with university students, health-related, agencies and healthcare professionals preferred. |
