DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you will be expected to exercise independent judgment as you oversee subordinate staff, providing supervision and support as they carry out their responsibilities. A key aspect of your role will involve prioritizing and allocating work assignments effectively, ensuring that tasks are distributed according to urgency and team capacity. Additionally, you will be responsible for training and guiding staff members, fostering their professional development and enhancing overall team performance. Regularly reviewing and analyzing work results will be crucial, as it allows for the identification of areas for improvement and the implementation of necessary changes. You will also be tasked with completing productivity reports. Clear communication, both orally and in writing, will be essential in this role, as you will need to convey information effectively to various stakeholders. Proficiency in operating a PC and other office equipment will be required to facilitate your daily tasks. You will have the opportunity to monitor and evaluate employee performance and provide feedback. Occasional travel may be necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of this position. Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
- Work hours may be negotiable.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time after successful completion of training. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Legal Assistant 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Five years of responsible clerical, investigative or enforcement work including two years of legal clerical experience; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
