Your Job

We are seeking an EH&S Specialist to join our Phillips Medisize facility in Phillips, WI. In this role, you will drive compliance with EHS laws and company policies by developing and maintaining site-specific programs, managing regulatory reporting, and delivering impactful training across multiple facilities. You will also coordinate injury case management, support process safety and business continuity initiatives, and oversee the activities of external consultants and contractors.

What You Will Do

  • Provide Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) support to multiple facilities, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
  • Develop, implement, and maintain site-specific EHS programs, policies, procedures, and training materials, including the Environmental Management System (EMS)
  • Prepare and submit required environmental permits, reports, forms, and surveys in a timely and professional manner
  • Deliver and coordinate effective safety and environmental training, ensuring all required programs are completed and documented
  • Manage compliance with governmental record-keeping requirements and company metrics, and communicate results to corporate and site management
  • Coordinate case management for work-related injuries/illnesses, including Return-to-Work programs, and report outcomes to plant leadership
  • Support regulated facilities with, Process Safety Management, emissions reporting, Business Continuity Planning, and agency interactions
  • Oversee and manage activities of external safety and environmental consultants and contractors as needed

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelors Degree in safety, health, or environmental sciences OR experience working as an EHS Specialist in a manufacturing environment

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience leading, organizing, problem solving and educating others
  • Associated Safety Professional or Certified Safety Professional certification

In order to comply with U.S. export control laws and regulations, this position requires applicants to either provide proof of U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent resident status or be eligible to receive an export authorization (a license) under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations and/or the Export Administration Regulations.
