Overview

The professional will work within the Risk Division's Regulatory & Governance Oversight group to directly support the Americas Chief Risk Officer (CRO) across several aspects of his remit including delivery of the overall Chief Risk Office (Risk) strategy, oversight of the regulatory interactions/engagements and implementation of & reaction to emerging/evolving practices, skills and external events (i.e., remediation, new supervisory rules, changing global/US environment and events that can shape Board and supervisory focus, etc.) across the Americas Risk division.The professional will liaise with key stakeholders across both Global Deutsche Bank and the region to support the CRO regulatory engagements impacting the Combined US Operations and LatAm as well as ensure delivery against Americas remediations and findings.Additionally, the professional will support the Americas CRO manage ad hoc deliveries from both internal and external stakeholders.Finally, the professional will support the CRO and his leadership team preparing for regulatory interactions by understanding impacts of global programs including over-arching key deliverables, division/firm-wide initiatives and evolution of the global artificial intelligence program on the region.

What You'll Do

  • Support the Americas CRO in delivering against the vision, strategy, and goals for the division and execute on special projects including preparations for engagements with internal and external stakeholders (i.e., global and regional counterparts, Americas Risk leadership team, key governance forums, communication to the full Americas Risk team, external supervisors and internal/external ad hoc forums)

  • Support the Americas CRO as a member of the Americas Regulatory & Governance Oversight team with oversight of the following activities:

  • Internal preparation for emerging regulatory requirements and evolving supervisory landscapes

  • Internal preparation for key global/regional governance forums and communications to senior management and independent board members

  • Delivery against regulatory deadlines including meetings, exams and findings

  • Track and document external global/regional events that may impact Deutsche Bank and prepare communications/presentations to support the Americas CRO, the Risk leadership team and internal/external stakeholders through governance forums and direct updates

Skills You'll Need

  • Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills

  • Experience in project management and/or managing critical deliverables against tight timelines

  • Deutsche Bank Organizational knowledge is a plus

  • Strong relationship building and influencing skills

  • Background in AI including practical usages (e.g. prompting)

Expectations

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York City office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $100,000 to $142,250. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
