Overview and Responsibilities

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Indirect Procurement Manager to join the Rotech team. In this position you will be responsible for overseeing the sourcing, negotiation, and management of contracts for indirect goods and services that support the company's operations, including facilities, IT, professional services, marketing, and administrative supplies. This role ensures cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality and compliance standards, supporting the delivery of respiratory therapies, wound care, and diabetes solutions to patients in their homes.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (HR, IT, Finance, Clinical Ops) to understand procurement needs and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for indirect categories to optimize cost, quality, and service.
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards.
  • Lead RFPs, RFQs, and vendor selection processes for indirect spend categories.
  • Manage supplier relationships and performance, including contract negotiations, renewals, and compliance.
  • Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Partner with legal and compliance teams to manage contract terms and risk mitigation.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting efforts related to indirect spend.
  • Track and report on procurement KPIs, savings, and supplier performance metrics.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Employment is contingent on

  • Background investigation (company-wide)
  • Drug screen (when applicable for the position)
  • Valid driver's license in state of residence with a clean driving record (when applicable for the position)

Required Education and/or Experience

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent, required.

Preferred Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field; MBA or CPM/CPSM certification, preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven organization.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience working in a home healthcare or medical device environment.
  • Familiarity with sourcing for clinical services, IT infrastructure, and patient support programs.
  • Five years of experience in indirect procurement, preferably in healthcare or a regulated industry.
  • Knowledge of healthcare compliance and vendor risk management is a plus.
  • Medical terminology, preferred.
  • One year of related work experience, preferred.
  • Proficiency in procurement systems (e.g., Coupa, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and project management skills.

Physical Demands

  • Lift and carry office equipment at times.
  • Must be able to participate in special warehouse projects which could include lifting weight up to 50+ lbs.
  • Requires sitting, walking, standing, talking and listening.
  • Requires close vision to small print on computer and/or tablet and paperwork.
