This role will allow you to apply your industry knowledge, passion, negotiation and relationship skills to build a unique approach to how our clients go to market, delivering best in class opportunities while maximizing value.

MRM is seeking an experienced and strategic Media Director Planning to lead integrated media planning and buying across a portfolio of key client accounts. This role will oversee full-funnel media strategies-spanning digital, social, programmatic, and traditional channels-and provide thought leadership, team guidance, and direct client counsel.

As a Media Director Planning, you will play a critical leadership role in connecting business goals to media outcomes, driving innovation in campaign execution, and mentoring a team of planners and supervisors. The ideal candidate brings deep channel expertise, strong client management skills, and a passion for delivering media that makes an impact.

In This Role, You Will:

  • Lead the development of holistic, data-informed media strategies aligned with client business objectives
  • Oversee media planning and execution across all channels, including digital, social, video, programmatic, and traditional media
  • Manage senior-level client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and strategic lead
  • Supervise and mentor a team of Media Supervisors, Planners, and Assistant Planners, ensuring high-quality work and team development
  • Collaborate closely with Strategy, Creative, Data, and Analytics teams to ensure integrated campaign delivery
  • Guide media budgeting, forecasting, pacing, and performance analysis across campaigns
  • Drive innovation through testing new media platforms, technologies, and partnership opportunities
  • Ensure flawless execution, accountability, and optimization of all media campaigns
  • Represent MRM in senior-level client meetings, internal reviews, and industry events

What We Are Looking For:

* Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Marketing, Media, Communications, or related field

* 8+ years of experience in media strategy, planning, and buying, preferably within an agency environment

* Deep knowledge of media channels, including digital, social, programmatic, and traditional formats

* Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams and mentoring talent

* Exceptional client management and presentation skills; confident in high-stakes meetings

* Proficient in media systems such as Prisma, MediaOcean, Google Ads, DSPs, and analytics platforms

* Skilled in data-driven planning, forecasting, and performance evaluation

* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and evolving agency environment

* A forward-thinking mindset with a passion for media innovation and cultural relevance

The salary range for this position is $150,00 to $187,500. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; the associated discipline; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee's/applicant's background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
