Position: UX Development Co-op/Intern Number of Position(s): 1 Duration: 4 Months+ Date: Jan - Apr, 2026 Location: Virtual Education recommendations Currently a candidate for a Master's, Bachelor's degree, or Diploma in User Experience Design or a related field with an accredited school in Canada. You'll join the User Experience Design and Development team, playing a key role in building React applications that help educate developers on how to use the Nokia Design System. You will: Create applications and code samples that demonstrate the use of React components Learn how to integrate NDS components into real applications Use AI tools to bridge the gap between design and code Expand your knowledge of front-end technologies and best practices Support application development teams throughout their process Collaborate with senior developers, testers, and UX designers You have: In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, React, and TypeScript Experience with AI coding tools such as WindSurf or Cursor Familiarity with automated testing tools like Cypress and JEST Strong communication, reasoning, and collaboration skills It would be nice if you also had: Knowledge of Linux, Node, and Git Solid foundation in user-centered design principles Previous experience working with UX designers Come create the technology that helps the world act together Nokia is committed to innovation and technology leadership across mobile, fixed and cloud networks.
