Education recommendations

Currently a candidate for a Master's, Bachelor's degree, or Diploma in User Experience Design or a related field with an accredited school in Canada.

You'll join the User Experience Design and Development team, playing a key role in building React applications that help educate developers on how to use the Nokia Design System.

You will:

  • Create applications and code samples that demonstrate the use of React components
  • Learn how to integrate NDS components into real applications
  • Use AI tools to bridge the gap between design and code
  • Expand your knowledge of front-end technologies and best practices
  • Support application development teams throughout their process
  • Collaborate with senior developers, testers, and UX designers

You have:

  • In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, React, and TypeScript
  • Experience with AI coding tools such as WindSurf or Cursor
  • Familiarity with automated testing tools like Cypress and JEST
  • Strong communication, reasoning, and collaboration skills

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Knowledge of Linux, Node, and Git
  • Solid foundation in user-centered design principles
  • Previous experience working with UX designers
