Position: UX Designer Co-op/Intern Number of Position(s): 1 Duration: 4 Months+ Date: Jan - Apr, 2026 Location: Virtual
Educational recommendations Currently a candidate for a Master's, Bachelor's degree, or Diploma in User Experience Design or a related field with an accredited school in Canada. You'll join the UX Design and Development team focused on the Nokia Design System, collaborating with experts to drive innovation, consistency, and scalability across Nokia products.
You will:
- Produce sketches, storyboards, wireframes, visual mock-ups, and prototypes to communicate user experiences.
- Translate business and user requirements into simple, meaningful design solutions.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX peers, and developers to align design with user and business goals.
- Discuss and refine prototypes with stakeholders to ensure high-quality implementation
- Work closely with UX designers and researchers to synthesize and apply feedback.
You have:
- Strong interaction design skills to define and communicate design solutions
- Proficiency with Figma, Miro, and Adobe Creative Cloud
Excellent communication, reasoning, and collaboration skills It would be nice if you also had: - Experience using or building a Design System
- Solid foundation in user-centered design principles
- Ability to conduct user research
