Overview
Manage all aspects of daily operations of an assigned owned/managed community to ensure regulatory compliance, profitability, satisfaction, quality, the Benedictine Experience, and the achievement of assigned goals are aligned with the mission and values of Benedictine. Organize, supervise, and direct the work of departments and associates; and /or manage vendor or campus-wide services received by the community. In collaboration with the leadership team, develop, implement, and oversee marketing and strategic plans, budgets, and quality improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
Direct the hiring evaluation, counseling, and termination of housing associates, including coaching staff that are participating in a succession development plan and adhering to affirmative action requirements.
- Develop, articulate and implement community vision and strategic planning in alignment with the Benedictine Quality Agenda. Promote and model integration of Mission and Values in all areas of operational management, communications and public relations. Ensure ongoing integration of Quality Standards.
- Ensure that care and service resources are in place and are appropriate within defined program parameters. Provide leadership to ensure that care and service is directed and delivered to meet Benedictine Standards and Policies within resource abilities. Coordinate move-in, and move-out for tenants to ensure smooth transitions.
- Plan and monitor all financial operations to ensure utilization of community resources in a fiscally responsible manner; whereby working towards long-term sustainability. Oversee financial services as assigned. Budget planning, rate setting and contract negotiation and management as assigned.
- Promotes the Benedictine Mission and Core Values of Hospitality, Stewardship, Respect and Justice by bringing the Mission and Core Values into the day-to-day activities of the company.
- Performs other duties, tasks and/or projects as assigned.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Associate's Degree in business, marketing, health care administration or a related field
- Two (2) or more years' experience working in older adult services or related field
- Ability to actively relate to the staff, board, and community
- Strong leadership, human relations, and communication skills
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- State-specific licensure, such as a MN LALD licensure or ability to obtain within a specified period of time
