Financial Analyst II - Marketing

Columbia Sportswear Financial Planning and Analysis teams drive value by helping create sustainable, profitable growth through robust business partnership and delivering insightful analysis to support strategic decision making.

As the Financial Analyst II for the Columbia Brand, you will provide financial and strategic support to our global Marketing and Licensing organizations. You'll be instrumental in planning and analyzing spend, ensuring alignment with company goals, and partnering with cross-functional teams and brand leadership.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

• Create insightful and accurate reporting tools,processes,and ad hoc analyses with a focus on clear storytelling and action-oriented output

• Monitor and forecast keys areas of spend across marketing and licensing.

• Identify budget gaps and work with business partners to adjust spending plans.

• Support the planning, execution, and analysis of forecasting cycles, including annual budgets and quarterly updates.

• Prepare accurate and timely reporting to include monthly reporting for leadership, and monthly, quarterly and annual reconciliations and accruals to ensure accurate expense recognition.

YOU HAVE

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, related field, or equivalent combination of experience and skill

• 2+ years' experience focused on financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis with demonstrated organizational and communication abilities.

• Proficiency in Excel modeling and presentation development.

• Understanding of accrual accounting and basic GAAP principles.

• Advanced problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving financial issues.
