Location: Medical Center - Fort WorthDepartment: PsychiatryShift: Weekend Shift (United States of America)Standard Weekly Hours: 24Summary: The Recreational Therapist will be responsible for implementing therapeutic recreational activities for pediatric psychiatric patients under general supervision of the Psychiatry team. Requires the ability to remain calm and professional when working with aggressive or unpredictable patient behaviors. Will also provide recreational therapy in the Child Life Zone providing activities for patients and siblings.This includes program planning, treatment implementation and documentation.The therapist will function as a member of the interdisciplinary team to deliver an integrated plan of care. Hours: Weekend Coverage (Friday evenings & Sat/Sun days 7am - 3:30pm or 8am - 4:30pm) Required Education & Experience:
