Job Description

Reporting to the Banquet Manager, the Banquet Bartender is responsible for offering individual warm and welcoming service by paying attention to the guests needs and looking for every opportunity to Wow and delight the guest with your knowledge and service levels. Mixes and serves alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks to patrons of bar.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Takes orders from guests or coworker on behalf of a guest.
  • Mixes ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks.
  • Collects money/tickets for drinks served, if event requires it.
  • Arranges bottles and glasses to make attractive display.
  • Slices and pits fruit for garnishing drinks.
  • Maintains cleanliness of bar area.
  • Following established service guidelines and practices; continually demonstrate the Service Principles with every interaction with guest and colleagues.
  • Carrying out other duties and responsibilities that may be requested by your teammates or manager.
  • Maintain a positive service attitude at all times and be willing to help and advise guests with all questions and requests they may have
  • Complete all other duties as assigned

Rate of Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour


Qualifications
  • Previous banquet and bartending experience is preferred.
  • Basic liquor and wine knowledge required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and/or walk
  • Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
