The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of relevant working experience, and live within a commutable distance to the office Glendale, CA for an hybrid work environment. Title: CAD Drafter Compensation: $30-37.50/hour Type: Contract Industry: Entertainment Responsibilities: Draft and revise electrical drawings for facility and industrial automation projects Perform daily AutoCAD drafting, including working with blocks, model space, paper space, and dimensioning Develop layouts, schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly details to support ride control systems Collaborate with engineers to ensure technical accuracy and design compliance Apply industry standards such as UL508a, NEC, and ANSI Y14.5 to all drafted work Manage drawing revisions and maintain accurate documentation in internal systems Support integration of drafted designs into broader facility and ride attraction layouts Basic Qualifications: Strong AutoCAD proficiency, including daily drafting workflows, blocks, dimensioning, and drawing standards Experience with electrical drafting in facility or industrial automation environments Background in engineering drawings/engineering CAD Familiarity with industrial electrical components (PLCs, VFDs, switches, relays, enclosures, etc.) Knowledge of drafting and design standards (UL508a, NEC, ANSI Y14.5) Strong collaboration skills and attention to detail Associate degree or equivalent in drafting, design technology, or related discipline Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting large-scale facility electrical projects 3D CAD skills (Solidworks, Revit, Navisworks, EPLAN) Exposure to automation systems and structured cabling Field experience with electrical wiring, testing, or startup support Estimated Min Rate: $30 Estimated Max Rate: $37.50 What's In It for You?
