Equipment Operator

Your Opportunity
Taylor Corporation is seeking an Equipment Operator to join our team in Monroe Township, NJ. In this role, you'll set up, load, and operate a variety of print equipment in a safe and efficient manner while maintaining a strong focus on quality. You'll also be responsible for equipment upkeep, quality checks, and accurate production records.

Your Shift
Monday - Friday | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Your Responsibilities

• Start up, monitor, and operate equipment

• Feed or load stock into machines

• Lift cartons from pallets, carry to printers, open cartons, and prepare stock (slice or fan as needed)

• Conduct quality checks and visually inspect all press output for accuracy

• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment

• Read and follow job tickets and work instructions

• Meet production goals related to run rates and waste reduction

• Complete production, quality, and maintenance documentation accurately

You Must Have

• 2+ years of experience as a machine or equipment operator, ideally in a similar environment

• Ability to learn quickly, with a willingness to train on new products and equipment

• Strong reading, math, and comprehension skills to follow instructions and measurements

• Clear communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Basic computer and keyboard skills

Requirements within this position:

• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand.
• Regularly required to remain in a stationary position.
• Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials.
• Frequently required to move inside the facility.
• Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry).

We Would Also Prefer:

• High school diploma or GED

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $17-18. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation's total compensation and benefits package for employees.
