Shop Helper

In this role, you'll work alongside skilled professionals, learn new skills, and contribute to the success of a growing team.

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00/hour

Shift: 1st Shift | Monday - Friday | Occasional Saturdays

Responsibilities

• Perform secondary operations in the machining area
• Set up cut-off saws, measure and select materials, start and observe operations
• Conduct quality checks to ensure accuracy
• Operate drill presses, tapers, hand grinders, and deburring tools
• Assist skilled machinists as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized shop environment

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in a machining or manufacturing environment preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in physically active positions
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude
