Plumber/Pipefitter

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of pipes including valves, drains and fixtures in all types of structures, heating, domestic water, and drainage systems as well as all their supporting equipment
• Responsible for operation, maintenance and repairs on faucets, sinks, commodes, bathtubs, water heaters, hot water tanks, and a variety of industrial water softening systems, RO & DI, wastewater, as well as their supporting equipment
• Responsible for all medical gas and compressed air fixtures, to include all gauges, valves, regulators, strainers, components, and piping.
• Coordinating with the Project Manager and other project professionals on a jobsite
• Understanding and following blueprints or building plans.
• Following current codes and regulations related to plumbing.
• Keeping and maintaining records of time spent on a job and materials used for the work.
• Preparing budgets and estimating costs to bid on potential work.
• Responding to plumbing emergencies, determining the issue, and making a repair in a timely manner.
• Performing regular maintenance of plumbing systems to prevent emergencies.

Pay Rate:

The rate for this position is $49.52/hr. However, Valiant considers several factors, including but not limited to, market data, business considerations, internal equity, the role and responsibilities of the position, a candidate's work experience, education, and training, when extending an offer.
