The Audio Visual/Video Teleconferencing (AV/VTC) Specialist supports the Joint Staff J7 Deputy Directorate Joint Training and Exercises (JS J7 DD JTE). The AV/VTC Specialist works closely with Military, Government Service (GS) Civilians, and Contractors preparing systems and environments, both physical and virtual, for in-person, remote, and blended meetings. This Specialist must be able to understand the organizational structure of DD JTE and the command's role in supporting the DoD Joint Training community. This is a full-time, salaried, onsite position in Suffolk, VA. Job Duties: Work closely with Military, Government Service (GS) Civilians, and Contractors to provide scheduled and on-call AV/VTC support at the Unclassified, Secret, and Top Secret level Prepare, maintain, and operate a wide array of AV/VTC equipment and applications, in both physical and virtual, local and remote, environments Schedule and deconflict AV/VTC support to events conducted locally Coordinate connectivity requirements with remote AV/VTC technicians Author Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Train and assist personnel in the use installed AV/VTC systems Assist with maintenance, installation, and updating of AV/VTC systems Other Duties as required Valiant Integrated Services is an employer who hires in accordance with applicable state and federal law.
