Responsibilities

LMI is seeking a skilled logistics analyst at the Army G-4 office in the Pentagon in Arlington, VA. A successful LMI senior analyst demonstrate competency in organizational skills, teamwork, collaboration, critical thinking and task management. LMI is committed to business growth while upholding the highest standard of ethical behavior.

    Conduct research into logistics operations, including literature review
  • Canvass databases and consolidate information from numerous sources into a single data base or spreadsheet and manipulate the data for analysis of courses of action
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis of logistics operations, including application of analytical and simulation models
  • Analyze and manage logistics systems and requirements for various current and future weapons and support systems
  • Provide analysis and recommendations in support of the DCS G-4 MPS
  • Support development of predictive tools and provide results analysis.
  • Review and coordinate equities into Army publications and directives
  • Supportive action officer on various army programs and portfolios.
  • Support Coordinator for the Div Chief
  • Synthesize project findings into actionable recommendations with demonstrable benefits in business performance
  • Support and lead projects that re-design or enhance system-support via logistics policies and processes.
  • Communicate with clients through written reports and oral presentations.
  • Coordinate and staff recommendations with multiple agencies.
  • Assist in marketing of consulting services, including market research, teaming arrangements, competitive analysis, and creation of marketing publications.
  • Assist in business performance assessment and reporting.


Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Undergraduate degree required. Degree in engineering, finance, economics, operations research, mathematics, or a related discipline preferred.
  • This position requires five (5) or more years' work experience.

  • Army knowledge/experience required.

  • Strong quantitative skills, including the ability to use spreadsheet, database, and project management software.

  • Demonstrated ability to quickly acquire and apply domain-specific expertise through on-the-job training and professional development training.

  • Superior communication skills, both oral and written.

  • Self-directed, detail oriented in completing assigned tasks, able to adapt to changing work efforts and manage impact of shifting priorities.

  • This position requires an active security clearance at the secret level. You must be a US citizen.

DESIRED SKILLS

  • Master's degree or higher in related discipline.
  • Working knowledge of Army logistics preferred.

Targeted Salary Range: $75,000-$95,000
