Job Description
Perform customer service such as opening new accounts for Specialized Banking customers and assisting customers with queries concerning the bank's products and services according to the Bank's standards, procedures and policies. Increase the Bank's market share by maximizing sales and referral opportunities through relationship management and business developments efforts. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide a complete range of customer services to Specialized Banking customers, including opening new accounts, explaining available bank products and services, and gathering customer compliance and corporate information to process new and existing accounts high risk accounts.
- Implement consistent consultative selling practices on a daily basis while interacting with highly sophisticated and complex clients.
- Proactively prospects for new business by participating in events, industry meetings and gathering referrals from existing clients.
- Actively refers loan, merchant and investment services to appropriate bank personnel
- Promote bank products and services, refer or resolve customer inquiries concerning accounts or other banking services
- Demonstrate awareness, commitment and dedication to servicing and building customer relationship
- Responsible for operational compliance and adherence to bank policies and procedures
- Perform onsite calls with VP of Business Development and/or EVP of Specialized Banking.
- Perform routine administrative duties, including typing, filing or routine clerical work
- Maintain a positive and professional image of the bank, promoting good-will by being an active member of the community
- Ensure clients are the primary focus and the candidate will own the inquiry and reply substantively intraday.
- Promote world class customer experience through consistent and effective skills development.
- Perform additional duties as requested, needed or assigned
Experience and Skills
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Gain full knowledge of the products and services offered by the BankKnowledge of department support structures, resources and personnel
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on the hours of operation, required nightly or weekend events as they occur.
- Must have basic business acumen and professionalism
- Ability to build strong relationships and alliances across the organization, exceed customer expectations, ability to adapt to change, reliable and highly self-motivated
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be flexible and able to adapt to new job locations and re-assignments as directed
- Fluent in written and verbal English communication skills

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma, or GED
- Must have recent customer service and sales experience particularly in cross-marketing products and services
- Above average knowledge of computer and keyboard skills
