Yard Jockey Driver

Position: Yard Jockey

CDL Class A required w/tanker endorsement

Days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday

Start time: 1 pm

Rate: $29.006

Daily tasks: Yard moves, Temp Checks, Yard checks, weighing

tankers, Help unload empty crates on case dock, ensure trailers are set properly in the yard for Driver's, communicate effectively on the radio with other jockeys and supervisors.

Responsibilities

* Operate a yard tractor trailer in accordance with company policies and procedures.

* Maintain compliance with all DOT regulations and safety standards.

* Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors and other team members.

* Perform all tasks in the yard in a safe, timely manner

Daily tasks: Bring route trucks over to cooler to be loaded, Yard moves, Temp Checks, Yard checks, weighing tankers, Help unload empty crates on case dock, ensure trailers are set properly in the yard for Driver's, communicate effectively on the radio with other jockeys and supervisors.

Qualifications

• Valid Pennsylvania Commercial Driver's License (Class A w/ tanker endorsement)
• Must pass DOT drug screening and DOT physical
• (Preferred) No recent moving or driving violations
