Position Summary The College of Business at Eastern New Mexico University is an ACBSP accredited school that seeks candidates for a full-time Assistant Professor of Business (tenure track).The college provides quality, student focused business education preparing individuals for professional careers, graduate studies, and lifelong learning. The candidate will have a primary interest in teaching in the field of Analytics. Preference will be given to candidates who can teach in other areas of business and those who have industry experience. This is a residential position that will teach face-to-face in Portales, NM and online. Physical presence for mandatory meetings and office hours is also required.This is a residential appointment starting in January 2026, with the candidate expected to relocate to the Portales, New Mexico area.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Teach (12 credit hour load) as assigned each semester in face-to-face, lecture-capture, and/or web platforms.
- Provide advising for undergraduate students (residential and distance students).
- Assist with the development of new curriculum and assessment to support program-learning outcomes.
- Serve on departmental and university committees and perform other services as required.
- Engage in professional development and develop scholarly work as required in the faculty handbook and FEC guidelines, to include publishing in a peer-reviewed journal (tenure track).
- Contract is for nine (9) months.
- Work is primarily done on campus during the work week with an expectation of being physically at work and available to work with students.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Job Requirements: A terminal degree in a related business field is required (ABD will be considered). Relevant work and teaching experience are preferred. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- The position requires the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
- Teaching/training experience in Web-based instruction and/or distance education is desirable.

Physical Demand and Working Conditions:
- Work is performed during normal work hours but may require some evening or weekend hours.
- Work is sedentary in nature and may require exerting up to 25 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
