Villani Chair in Economics. The holder of the Villani Chair is expected to provide leadership for and have a transformational impact on the department in terms of research, teaching, and service. Hiring will be at the rank of Full Professor. We welcome candidates from any field. Section: US: Full-Time Academic (Permanent, Tenured) Location: Washington, District of Columbia, UNITED STATES JEL Classifications: any field Qualifications The holder of the Villani Chair is expected to possess the following qualifications: National and International Eminence: A distinguished reputation in their field, both nationally and internationally. Outstanding Research Output: A well-established record of outstanding research achievements, showcasing the creation of high-quality, impactful research. Forward-Looking Research Agenda: An articulated research agenda demonstrating a commitment to ongoing innovation and scholarly contributions. Curricular Innovation: A proven ability to influence and enrich the department's curricular offerings, both at the undergraduate and graduate levels, through innovative and relevant coursework and its delivery. Dedication to Advising and Mentoring: A demonstrated commitment to mentoring and advising graduate students, with an emphasis on fostering the success of individuals from diverse backgrounds.
