What to Expect

The Spares Coordinator is responsible for managing the flow of spare parts within the maintenance storeroom and work centers. Under the direction of the Maintenance Material Planner, the Coordinator ensures accurate and timely inventory movements, kit staging, and CMMS transactions. This role involves daily planning and oversight of storeroom support tasks to enhance technician productivity and parts availability. The Coordinator also supports process improvements, cross-functional collaboration, and policy updates to improve inventory reliability and customer service delivery.


What You'll Do
  • Execute planner directives on parts ordering, rebuild readiness, and critical spares monitoring
  • Plan daily floor support, deliveries, and returns in coordination with the Spares Technician
  • Conduct audits of kitting shelves to ensure proper loading and accuracy after stocking
  • Inventory management: Auditing, root cause analysis and troubleshooting of discrepancies, closing loop with suppliers, adding new parts, etc.
  • Inventory planning: Quoting (RFQ - Request For Quote), purchasing, optimization of stocks, etc.
  • Developing and maintaining cross-functional partnerships with Operations, Engineering, and Procurement
  • Transforming and improving departmental processes and policy through project work and continuous improvement

What You'll Bring
  • 2+ years of experience in MRO, storeroom, or maintenance operations
  • Experience with CMMS required (e.g., SAP, Maximo, Fiix, or equivalent)
  • Strong ability to prioritize, delegate, and follow through on multiple tasks
  • Frequently and repetitively, lift, push and carry up to 35 lbs., including the ability to carry 20 lbs. up and down stairs
  • Preferred or desired qualifications: prior spare parts, material planning/ERP, material handling, reliability, maintenance, and/or inventory control experience
  • Must have command of the English language, both written and verbal
