Position Title: Corporate Procurement Manager

Reports to: General Parts Manager

Location: Negotiable

Job Summary:

The Corporate Procurement Manager is pivotal in streamlining purchasing processes, resolving parts-related issues and developing vendor relationships and internal resources to improve efficiency and knowledge sharing.

The Corporate Procurement Manager will work closely with branch teams, vendors and senior leadership to ensure optimal inventory management, vendor program development and purchasing strategies. This position requires a hands-on approach, a willingness to travel and a commitment to continuous improvement across all purchasing functions.

Duties/Responsibilities:



  • Personnel Support and Training

    • Travel to branches as needed to train personnel on purchasing systems and procedures
    • Provide ongoing support for branch parts-related issues and troubleshooting


  • Purchasing & Vendor Relations

    • Assist with MTU Rim orders and ensure timely and accurate procurement
    • Manage vendor parts returns and coordinate resolution of discrepancies
    • Help develop and maintain vendor programs to improve cost-effectiveness and reliability
    • Collaborate on the creation of product index pages and a centralized knowledge base for company-wide use


  • Inventory & Surplus Management

    • Support branches in managing surplus parts and addressing obsolescence
    • Assist with physical inventory preparations and counts across locations
    • Participate in special projects and initiatives as directed by supervisor


  • Brand Representation & Customer Experience

    • Uphold the company's professional brand standards through exceptional facilities and customer interactions.
    • Enhance operational processes to boost customer experience and loyalty.


  • Strategic Vision & Growth

    • Shape and execute strategies to expand market presence and drive business growth.
    • Align objectives with corporate strategies through collaboration with Senior Leadership.




Qualifications

Required Qualifications:




  • Demonstrated organizational skills
  • Experience with vendor negotiations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in Finance with medium-to-large organization
  • Background in Supply Chain Management
  • Experience with purchasing systems
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Physical Requirements:

This position regularly requires walking, standing, sitting, stooping, bending, kneeling and climbing stairs. It also often requires pushing, pulling, twisting, lifting 50+ lbs. and working in a variety of weather conditions and noise levels.
