The Partners Group currently has an outstanding opportunity for a customer service insurance professional to join our Personal Lines team in Renton, Washington as an Associate Account Manager.

How you will make an impact at TPG

We're looking for a detail-oriented and client-focused Associate Account Manager to join our Personal Lines team. In this role, you'll be the trusted, day-to-day contact for assigned clients - building relationships, solving problems, and ensuring exceptional service. Working closely with Advisors and Account Managers, you'll help protect what matters most to our clients, while strengthening their connection to The Partners Group.

A typical day in this role



  • Serve as the primary daily contact for assigned personal insurance clients, handling service requests, policy changes, billing inquiries, and claims assistance.
  • Perform carrier remarkets to ensure competitive coverage options and pricing.
  • Quote new households and additional lines of coverage; complete onboarding, application, binding, and payment processing.
  • Review policies, amendments, and endorsements for accuracy; facilitate corrections with carriers as needed.
  • Maintain clear, timely, and professional communication with clients, carriers, and internal teams.


Key details

Location: Renton, Washington (preferred) or Portland, Oregon; hybrid in-office schedule (at least 2 days/week)

Hours: 40 hours/week, Mon-Fri

Salary Range: $50,000-60,000 annually, DOE ($24.00-28.00 per hour)

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Physical Requirements: Ability to sit for long periods of time, ability to communicate verbally and in writing, and ability to handle long periods of screen time.

Travel: Minimal overnight travel as business needs may require (such as visiting other TPG office locations)

What you'll bring to the table (required)



  • Active Property & Casualty Insurance License (or ability to obtain within 4 months of hire).
  • Minimum 3 years of insurance customer service experience in an independent agency setting, with at least 5 years of overall customer service experience.
  • Experience with personal lines carriers such as Safeco, Allstate/National General, Chubb, Foremost, Hartford, Nationwide, Progressive, PURE, Cincinnati, Travelers, Arrowhead, GeoVera, and Hagerty.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn carrier portals and internal systems quickly.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a professional, client-first approach.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy under pressure.


What will make you really stand out (preferred)



  • Experience using AMS360 agency management system.
  • Experience using a personal lines rater (PL Rater preferred).
  • Proven ability to explain coverage in clear, easy-to-understand terms.
  • Skilled in building long-term client relationships and identifying opportunities for account growth.
